Silently approaching
The wings of joy in sight
Landing in all gracefulness
He glides from special flight

Watch in peaceful moment
As gracefully he stands
Upon the sands so smoothed now
By rushing waves on land

Pauses in such beauty
As light has touched the shore
This bird of simple beauty
Has graced this spot once more

Journey that is ended
With peaceful harmony
Quietly adapts to
The shadows he will see

Stillness on the water
Reflections of his time
To gaze upon the beauty
The shore is now designed

To peacefully acknowledge
The presence of delight
Calm and peaceful shadow
In the beauty of God's Light.
