Location
| CrossTides
is located about eighty miles west of Portland,
Oregon. It is nestled on the beautiful Oregon
coast, at a little hideaway called Oceanside. An
appropriate name since the view from my front windows
is of the endless tides and surfs. In fact, the
beautiful Pacific can be seen from almost every vantage
point. Tucked along the shore is where you will
find CrossTides. |
About The
Artists
| We
are women who love to write music, sing, take pictures, paint and get
our hands in almost anything that has to do with the
arts. Our imagination has always been very
active. Being artists you have to have an
imagination. For us, being an artist means being
able to find the hidden beauty in life.
Whether it be in the pounding rain, or a raging
storm, a sunset over the ocean, or the fresh dew drops
on a morning Iris. We must be able to look beyond
our own lenses. It is looking inside the cocoon
and seeing the butterfly ~ After all, it is in the
butterfly that we see the beauty, not the larva that
begins the butterfly.
It is looking at all of God's creations and
pushing ourselves beyond what our own eyes can
see.
All of
our work is an accumulation of the joys that we see in
God's world. We bring to you the wonders as I see
them every day. This is my love for life. |
A Word From
The Artists
| Our
inspirations come from the places and people we have
encountered along life's journey. We feel we are very fortunate to have such a beautiful earth to
live on. We are thankful to have such a loving,
wonderful and forgiving God. With Him on our side
we realize there isn't a mountain to high, or a valley
to low. We know that wherever we go when we get
there. . .He will be the One giving us a warm place to
rest. His love is unchanging and forever endless.
We hope
the gifts you find on our pages are able to inspire and
encourage you. We hope you find a place inside to
become all you were meant to be and to have the courage
to be who you really are. Find the place inside
where the fire is burning ~ Let go and let God. We hope
